I don't own very many maxi dresses, but I definitely think I should invest in a few more. They are comfortable, chic, and can be worn so many ways for day or night. I love the citrusy color of this one and kept it simple with a denim jacket and some sandals for brunch in the city with my SF blogger friends- easy peezy!

Can you believe we are saying good-bye to November and welcoming in the most festive month of the year (and my birthday month-woopwoop!)? I must say I won't miss November, as it was pretty tight financially due to my move, and paying double rent, so I found myself trying to get creative with the pieces I already have in my wardrobe OR spending my Poshmark credits for new affordable gems like this camo jacket! For just $20 bucks I scooped up this perfect piece that I am just smitten with- it's definitely a trendy piece that works with what I already own in my wardrobe. 

With my move complete, I am in major closet-clean out mode- out with the old, in with the new! :-)

Itttt's baccckk! You last saw this dress here, when I mentioned how often I would be wearing it for summer, and sure enough I have been. This time I tried toughening it up with the vest, booties and major arm swag, and I really love this vibe. I have been wanting ankle booties for quite some time now and finally took the plunge (not to mention I already ordered a second pair)! I love how they instantly add that cool and laid back vibe to a more feminine dress!

Happy Friday Friends! I am so excited to share this post with you because it is my very first style challenge! Last weekend I got together with some of my blogger ladies where we attended a clothing swap hosted by Lifecrowd which was SO fun! If you know me, and the company I work for (the one-of-a-kind insanely amazing iPhone app where you shop stylemates closets originALS-Poshmark) you better believe I love getting my hands on other fashionista's goodies (One man's trash is another mans treasure right?!)! So after mimosas and mingling, we were able to swap it like its hot- and good time was had by all! Check out some of the pics from the event here and here. 

Which I digress, I know, because the root of the Turban Style Challenge came about, because my long time pal, Meghan of "Voila!", scored a turban at the swap, which reminded me of this turban I scored thrifting years ago that I had never worn! Annnd it gets even better- Krystal of "This Time Tomorrow" Adiel of "It's Because I Think Too Much" , Rebecca of "Thirty Five Inch Inseam",and Kellen of "And So It Goes" are joining the fun! Because lets face it- turbans are not the easiest of things to wear, so this was a perfect opportunity to put our fashion styling skills to the test and just have fun with it! I decided to keep it simple and went with basic black shorts, crochet top and a sheer floral cardi and was feeling very 'bohemian gypsy'.

Hey there, Happy Wednesday! 

Just the usual outfit of skinnies, striped blouse and I busted out my neon shoes again-in cased you didn't notice! (hehe) ;-) I also am wearing my new Blue Vanilla earrings-how cute and fun are these?! If you don't know about Blue Vanilla you should really check them out... they are a trendy and super affordable (you know I love a good deal) jewelry site run by the sweetest, most amazing ladies- Dana and Megan, and their merchandise totally matches them- FABULOUS! 

Oh! One last (but not least) thing- Did you notice Fashionablee Me's new header? After a month of going back and forth with designs, we finally finished it up- and I am so pleased with the outcome! Big thanks to my friend Dan!

I am not one to wear long dresses or skirts, but I do love the comfy-cool vibe this skirt gives off. And paired with a simple navy top, shearling vest, and stacked on bracelets, was an easy no-brainer look.
