Blue Print Juice Cleanse: Success!

If you follow me on Twitter or Instagram, you may have seen that I embarked on a juice cleanse journey this week. If you had asked me one month ago if I ever would do a cleanse, the answer would have been a flat out NO.  But, since I began back at my workout routine and eating clean, my inner self wanted the challenge...and a challenge it was. To be honest, at first I only ordered a two day cleanse thinking that this would be a good starter cleanse, but when Blue Print accidentally sent me a 3 day cleanse (they have great customer service btw), I felt like it was telling me to challenge myself even further, and that's exactly what I did.

Here's a recap of each day and how I felt:
Day 1- Excited, ready, and high energy. Because I still had food in my system from the day before I didn't feel any huge side effects besides a slight coffee headache at the end of the day. The juices kept my full (yes, full) and they taste great! By the end of day one I was still full of energy, but kept myself busy in the evening by painting my nails, doing laundry, and whitening my teeth to not think about eating.

Day 2- Not excited, and woke up with a huge headache. This is when I knew my body was starting to detox. The juices still kept me full, but were harder to get through them all-- I don't think I finished half of one. I even had to leave work early because I was feeling dizzy, exhausted and headachy. They suggested sweating the toxins out so I took a hot shower which seemed to help with how I was feeling, and then I went to bed SO early and slept for 12 hours which was much needed.

Day 3- Refreshed, energetic and positive! Yesterday I woke up feeling so great, clear minded and saw the light at the end of the tunnel. I had no more headache, wasn't hungry, and was so ready to take on the day. I definitely felt like my body was feeling cleansed after the slightly awful day 2. The end of day 3 ended on a high note because of the way my body felt.

All in all it was a great accomplishment that I am so happy to share with you all. I highly suggest doing a cleanse to reboost your body AND mind. Don't ever think you can't do something, because if you put your mind to it, you can! If you have any other questions about my experience feel free to ask!

Spring Florals

Dress and bag: Asos // Denim Jacket: Target // Wedges: Charlotte Russe // Sunglasses and Earrings: H&M

"Florals? For Spring? Ground breaking."--The Devil Wears Prada

Ground breaking or not, I still don't think I'll ever get sick of wearing florals--especially this time of year! I recently snagged this dress on Asos and had fun mixing prints with these polka dot wedges, sassy earrings and my go-to denim jacket. I just know this dress is going to be in heavy rotation all summer long.

How are you wearing florals right now?

Minty Monochrome

Top and Earrings: Forever 21 // Pants: TJ Maxx // Bag: Asos // Sunglasses: Ray-Ban // Necklace: H&M // Shoes: Prabal Gurung for Target // Watch: Michael Kors

It seems I can't stay away from monochromatic looks. I noticed myself doing this back in the fall/winter and I don't see it changing for spring/ summer. I just love the balance of mixing similar shades of colors-it packs such a fun punch!

Happy Thursday!

San Francisco Spring

Pants and Blazer: Target // Blouse: Forever 21 // Pumps: Boutique 9 // Sunglasses: Ray-Bans // Bag: Alexander Wang via Poshmark // Nameplate Necklace: Bauble Bar // Watch: K-mart

Hi friends! For those of you who follow me on Twitter, you probably saw I received the news of an unexpected root canal on Monday, which has put me in quite the blah mood. Between the four dentist appointments (and one more on Thursday), antibiotics, and a mid week trip to San Diego, I must say I am ready to start fresh this week- so bring it on, Monday!

A few weeks back I had the pleasure of reuniting in San Francisco with my dear friend and blogging buddy Natasha. I met her earlier this year in Seattle and we instantly hit it off- she is hilarious, stunning, and intelligent which is definitely the kind of lady I like to surround myself with--can you say inspiring? So when she told me she had a free afternoon I jumped at the chance to see her for happy hour and naturally we took a little photo opp break!

Thanks for the pics, pretty lady! If you don't follow her blog, what are you waiting for--she is in the works of a relaunch so expect fabulous new things from her soon!

Tie Dye, Polka Dots & Denim

Pants, Belt,  Denim Jacket & Wristlet: Target // Top: Forever 21 // Sandals: Charlotte Russe // Hat: Flea Market // Sunglasses: Ray- Ban

I don't know about you, but I am kind of loving all things tie dye for spring, so when I saw these pants on my last quick Target run, I knew I had to have them! I love the subtle purple and white combo, and paired with a pop of neon at the belt and denim jacket is spring time perfection. I am also going to be wearing these white and metallic sandals and hat all summer long.

These pants also sparked some DIY inspiration in me, and I feel a nail art session coming up very soon!

Happy Thursday!

Professional with a Twist

Jeans: Forever 21 // Top & Blazer: Target // Shoes: Asos // Flower Pin: H&M // Watch: Michael Kors

Hi friends! It most definitely has been a whirl wind of a week traveling, and I just want to thank you all for baring with me when I go off on these week long hiatus' from blogging. As much as I always say I will make time, between the jet lag, and back to back work events, it never seems to happen. So again, I am sorry and I appreciate you all understanding and coming back! :-)

Here's my take on a professional look... with a twist of course!. I am pretty obsessed with this peplum top and paired with the bright blazer and cap-toe pumps makes for an easy breezy week day look. Also, I have been trying my hand on the center part with my hair. I kind of like it for summer because it gives off that more beachy laid back look--what do you guys think of the center part?

Lastly, myself and nine other ladies gave our fashion blogging tips over on my dear friend, Mollie's blog- go check it out!

Neons, Stripes, & Sequins

Jeans and Necklace: Poshmark // Tee: Old Navy // Blazer: Target // Bracelet: HRH Collection // Earrings: Ann Taylor // Shoes: Prabal Gurung for Target // Sunglasses: Ray-Ban

While in LA last week, I didn't get to do much shopping due to my luggage practically exceeding the 50 pound limit on the first leg of the trip- yes I am that much of an over packer. But my sister and I did get to quickly pop into Old Navy while having lunch at the 3rd Street Promenade in Santa Monica, and I must say Old Navy, is doin' it well. I easily could have scooped up multiple pairs of bright and printed jeans, pretty dresses, and t-shirts galore, but I managed to keep things to a minimum and went with this striped, sequin, neon tee-love love. I can see this being styled so many different ways for the warmer months to come!

Happy Thursday!
