Neon Lace

I'm baaacckk!! After the most amazing, fun, and inspiring trip to New York, I am back in Cali! I will be sharing pics within the next few days about the trip so check back to see all the fabulousness that went down at the Posh Party and with the Poshmark team.

For now, I wanted to share something that I am totally crushing on- neon lace! While in New York I got to visit Topshop and scored the amazing fluorescent dress pictured above, and I realized that I am completely obsessed with combination of neon and lace. I love lace and how romantic and classic it is, but when dyed to bright neon perfection, it adds that funky fun twist which I can't get enough of!

I'm definitely on the hunt for a few more pieces to mix into my wardrobe, because we all know this girl needs more neon, right?!

Pastels and a Posh Party!

To balance out all my crazy neon pieces, I of course, had to buy some soft sorbet hued items for this spring as well! I've been on the hunt for some pastel pants, and although I was specifically looking for some minty ones, I really loved this peachy pair I found at Forever 21! To get my mint fix I paired them with my new striped mint sweater I recently got from Tobi, a new affordable website with a great selection of on trend merchandise! Along with this sweater I got a few more tops, all around 20 bucks- score!

Like I promised last week, I wanted to fill you all in about New York! The Poshmark team and myself are flying out there tomorrow (YAY) for a few days of Posh Party fun! On Wednesday night we will be at the Ace Hotel with some amazingly stylish NYC bloggers hosting a "Spring Trends" Posh Party! Is anyone else LOVING this sunny weather? No jackets, sandals, bright colors...ahhh...me...so...happy...I am enjoying it while I can because next week I am heading to New York with work, and we saw the weather predict some rain- boo! Regardless, I am SO SO SO excited, but will share more details on the blog next week!

For now, it's Friday, and my whole family is in town this weekend for my cousins wedding, so let the good times roll!! TGIF!

P.S. How blindingly amazing are my new Zara sandals? Slightly obsessed with how fluorescent they are!

As you know, I am ~~obsessed~~ in love with color, so when I was getting dressed in my neon skinnies, I was soo close to just putting on a pair of nude pumps and calling it a day...until I thought that was too boring and added these fun turquoise platforms! I think these shoes will start getting much more of a wearing now that the sun is coming out to play (and did I mention they are comfy?!) There's nothing better than a bright, sky-high pair of heels that are comfy right? Can I get a hell yes?!

Dot Dot Dot

I think it's safe to say I ~~love~~ like to wear polka dots in more than one form in each outfit- and here we have a perfect example: Polka Dots on Polka Dots. I really liked that the skirt has more subtle glittery dots and the sweater has a much more bold polka dot pattern going on. This mixed with some insanely bright tights, nude pumps and my fave bag equals polka dot heaven...Not to mention it is FRIDAY!

Flower Power

I definitely channeled some 70's inspiration with this look since the dress has that flowy vibe and exaggerated sleeves, it was fairly easy to achieve. Although, I have to admit- my original choice was to wear some strappy sandals, but my toes weren't painted #confession We have all been there, right?! :-) Made up for the simple shoes in bangles, fringe, and bright lips and nails!

Happy Monday everyone! I hope you all enjoyed the weekend- I sure did, got a TON done!

I wore this outfit last week and I have to express how much I LOVE the color of this blouse, it is so vibrant and just makes me happy a girl. Believe it or not this was another one of my K-mart purchases, and I loved it so much I got it in another print! As for my shoes I saw these on Asos on super sale and HAD to have them- and as much as I was excited to wear them, the 5 inch heel doesn't agree with my feet. So if you are a size 9, look out for these on Poshmark this week, they will be for sale!

Leather on Leather

When I was walking out the door in this outfit, I knew I needed a last minute jacket addition, denim? No. Blazer? Closer. Pink, leather blazer? YES! When I first saw this leather blazer available on the Poshmark app in perfect condition I had pressed the "buy" button before I knew it...and I don't have one single regret about it! It is such a fun color, in perfect condition, and fits like a glove! Definitely going to be one of my go-to pieces for those chilly spring days!
