IFB Con {Day 2}

Dress: Topshop // Boots: Asos // Necklace: Forever 21 // Jacket: Old Navy

I bought this Topshop dress months and months and MONTHS ago while back in New York with work, and I have been waiting for the perfect occasion to wear it...so of course it was fitting to rock it when back in the big apple at day 2 of IFB Con! Because of how neontastical (yes, it's my new favorite word) it is, I wanted to keep everything else simple, and dress it down a bit, which is why I opted for the cargo jacket and booties. And yes- I wore these booties BOTH days of the conference and it was probably the best decision I have ever made, my feet were so grateful!

All in all, IFB Con was amazing, New York as always inspiring, and total side note- taking outfit pictures on the streets of Soho ROCKS--The backdrops you New York ladies makes me so jealous.
Until we meet again New York!

Back to reality...for now! I have 3 more trips coming up within the next month- one of which being my sisters wedding!! AH! :-D

#IFBCON Inspiration

Images via Pinterest

If you follow me on Twitter, you may have heard the amazing news...

I AM GOING TO IFB CON NEXT WEEK!

This will be my first blogger conference and I am beyond myself with excitement! I just had some business cards made and am trying to figure out what to bring with me! I was totally inspired by these looks, and am thinking my outfits will definitely include head- to-toe prints, neon, polka-dots, blazers, and maybe even a little bit of fringe. (I know, I know- can someone say predictable?!) But one thing I do know is my shoes probably won't be too exciting, I refuse to be that girl hobbling around!
:-)

Who else will be in New York? If you are please let me know- I would love to meet some new blogging buddies!

CAN'T WAIT!!

Peach & Purples

Skirt: H&M // Blouse: Marshall's // Cardigan: TJMaxx // Wedges: Asos // Bag: Michael Kors via Poshmark // Sunglasses: Tobi //

As much as I love a good peplum or drop waist top, I don't find them to be the most flattering on me, so when I dug up this little gem from my closet that I got a few years back, I was determined to find a way to make it work. And yes I realize it isn't a full on peplum or even close to a drop waist, but I love that it still embodies the style with the adorable ruffle detail on the bottom. Paired with some peachy sequins, simple shoes, and chain link earrings definitely had me smiling...

Hope you all have a Happy Happy Friday, and an even happier weekend! :-)

Colored Trousers & Polka Dots

Trousers & Blazer: Target // Blouse: Marshall's // Pumps: Boutique 9 // Purse: Rebecca Minkoff // Earrings: Forever 21 // Sunglasses: Tobi

As much as I love my mass amounts of printed and colored denim, lately I've been looking for a more classic pair of trousers in a bold, fun color of course. On my most recent toothpaste trip to Target, I aimlessly wandered (uh, huh, yeah right, Amanda) to take a peek at the clothes, and was thrilled when I spotted the colorful trouser rack! They had almost every color and I am thinking I need to go back for more. :-) I love the cropped length and the slouchy style...minus all my wrinkles from sitting at my desk all day- whoops!

If you are in for a giggle you should check out this picture of my co-worker Megan and I. There was absolutely no planning involved and we almost died laughing when we noticed we were practically in the same outfit! Great fashionistas think alike, right? ;-)

Happy Tuesday! <3

Hey there, Happy Wednesday!

Just the usual outfit of skinnies, striped blouse and I busted out my neon shoes again-in cased you didn't notice! (hehe) ;-) I also am wearing my new Blue Vanilla earrings-how cute and fun are these?! If you don't know about Blue Vanilla you should really check them out... they are a trendy and super affordable (you know I love a good deal) jewelry site run by the sweetest, most amazing ladies- Dana and Megan, and their merchandise totally matches them- FABULOUS!

Oh! One last (but not least) thing- Did you notice Fashionablee Me's new header? After a month of going back and forth with designs, we finally finished it up- and I am so pleased with the outcome! Big thanks to my friend Dan!

Milk Chocolate

Jacket and Watch: Michael Kors // Jeans: Joes // Top: Forever21 // Shoes: Sam Edelman // Name plate necklace: My Baby Gift // Bracelet/Ring: Poshmark App // Bag: Kelsi Dagger

This is a typical type of outfit for me, or as some call it, my "uniform": skinny jeans, a fun top and my favorite chocolate leather jacket. I got this jacket as a gift from my Aunt a few years back and to this day I wear it non-stop. Another thing I wear non- stop, my name plate necklace that I got when I was a baby, I usually never take it off.

Sorry for the brief post, but I have been feeling a little under the weather...I think something is going around, so stay healthy everyone!
