Spotted

Top: Marshall's // Pants: Macy's // Bag: Aldo // Bracelet: HRH Collection // Sunglasses: Ray Ban // Shoes: Old Navy

I think I have a slight major obsession with all these polka dots right now, as you can tell from this outfit consisting of a triple threat of spotted delight. I saw the corner of this bag peeking out of the sale area at Aldo and I think I almost pulled a muscle running for it...can we say Fashion Girl Problems? :-)

Anyhow, I am SO excited for the Posh Party tonight at ACRE SF and hope you all can come say hi if you are in the area! Myself and the Poshmark team would love to see you!

Simple Maxi

Skirt and Earrings: Forever 21 // Top: H&M // Vest: Old Navy // Shoes: Charlotte Russe // Bracelets: Assorted Vintage Silver From My Grandma

I am not one to wear long dresses or skirts, but I do love the comfy-cool vibe this skirt gives off. And paired with a simple navy top, shearling vest, and stacked on bracelets, was an easy no-brainer look.

Happy Monday!

The Nail Files: Neon + Sparkles

Step One: Paint
 Step Two: Glitter
 Step Three: Top Coat
 Step Four: Nail Partay!!!

Hi there and happy Sunday!

I thought I would start doing occasional posts on something I am slightly majorly obsessed with- NAIL POLISH! I am totally the girl who paints her nails every week (sometimes twice) and I love trying new fun colors, adding glitter, and I am even known to dabble in some nail art here and there (when I have time).

So when my fabulous co-worker Maria got some new Forever 21 polishes sent to her(jealous) and volunteered them to the office gals, you know myself and Carlina jumped at the chance! I chose to go with this fluorescent pink which was just screaming my name. I had also just purchased the Spoiled neon orange (pictured above) and thought they would be so fun together.

To start I painted all my nails the new Forever 21 pink except my ring finger which was painted the orange. Each of these polishes needed three coats to get the saturated effect that I liked. I then used my favorite Forever 21 Love&Beauty glitter to paint just the tips- using two coats to get the nice gradient effent. Then finished it off with my Sally Hansen top coat and Voila!

I hope you enjoyed my first mani post! :-) There will be more in the future!

Myself, Dana, and Chanda having fun!                                              Nail Party!

The amazingly sweet Jackie and myself.                                  My Poshmark gals!

Yesterday was such a fun-and fashionable- day! Going into the day I was excited as is, because it was my "Friday" (yay-3 day weekend!) and I knew the day would breeze on by since there was an event in the city that I was so looking forward to in the evening. The moment I walked into work wearing my turquoise polka dot dress, I see my super stylish co-worker Carlina wearing a just-as fabulous mustard color polka dot dress! Now, I know what you are thinking- that we were mortified since we were dressed similarly right? NOPE- I think it is so great to be surrounded by such stylish, on trend and inspiring women at work and more than anything I was thrilled we were dressed similar (we tend to do that a lot actually). So that was such a fun start to the morning, and from there on out between the gorgeous sunshine and a fun event to look forward to- the day was great!

The event itself was thrown to celebrate the collaboration of Gap and Rue Magazine on their Styld.by campaign which was so amazing! The night was filled with a fun photo wall, yummy treats and of course some bubbly-but the best part of the night was that I finally got to meet some amazing blogger ladies that has been a long time coming..I wish I took more pictures too (It was hard managing a clutch and a cocktail)! The San Francisco community is filled with such talented women, and I am so thrilled to be surrounded by them all! Can I get a HECK YA!? ;-)

I hope everyone has a fabulous weekend!! xoxo!

Florals, Lace and Glitter

Floral Tank: H&M // Lace Top: Forever21 // Skirt: TJMaxx // Denim Jacket: Nordstrom // Flower Pin: Charlotte Russe // Shoes: Old Navy // Sunglasses: Asos // Ring: Chloe Rose Boutique // Bangles: Forever 21, H&M, Swaovski

This is actually the outfit I wore on Valentine's Day last week that I never got around to posting (sowee). I knew I wanted to wear something feminine, but not the typical red or pink dress, so I opted for a fun printed skirt and layered a floral tank under this lace top and I really like the effect it gave. The subtle floral print just barely comes through the lace adding light pops of color, and of course with my glitter pumps and floral pin adds that extra girliness to the look.  Finished with my most festive bangles and fave denim blazer, I was definitely dressed for a nice night with my boyfriend...and not to mention this was a boyfriend approved outfit, which is always a win! :-)

Happy Thursday friends!

Pops of Purples

Dress (worn as skirt): TJMaxx // Sweater and Necklace: Forever21 // Socks: Target // Boots: Nine West // Jacket: Target
// Cuff: Poshmark App

This look came together because I was getting a little tired of my usual- consisting of skinnies and blouses- so I knew I wanted to mix in a skirt or dress, and that's exactly what I did. This is actually a sleeveless lace dress, worn as a skirt by adding a similar shade of gray sweater right over. I loved how it instantly gave this a little more casual, laid back vibe, so I ran with that by added simple riding boots and my shearling denim jacket. And of course, I always need some color in my life so it was a perfect opportunity to rock my knee-high purple socks, fun new Forever 21 necklace and raspberry lipstick!

Weekend Recap: Exciting News!

Enjoying a nice day in the city with my sis.

Bachelorette Party Fun!

Our amazing meal on Saturday evening- yum!

The newly engaged couple!

How gorgeous is the ring!?

 She is SHOCKED! :-) hehe

Hi everyone!

Today I am so excited because this weekend marked a very special moment for my sister- she got engaged!! To prefice- she came into town for my cousins bachelorette party in San Francisco which was such a blast, but unknown to her- myself and her boyfriend, I mean FIANCE, were busy planning the surprise proposal for her!

It was the most romantic, adorable, exciting, and surprising proposal that happened yesterday. We made arrangements for him to fly into town (which she was completely clueless about) and I plotted to have a normal Sunday brunch with her and my boyfriend. When we arrived our server handed my sister a card that said to come out into the front garden where he was standing in a heart made of rose petals, with the most beautiful long stem roses, and of course looking mighty sharp! What came next is probably obvious, but he got down on one knee and proposed! She was sooo shocked and excited and of course- SAID YES! We spent the rest of the day celebrating, making calls to the fam, and already talking about the wedding- I am beyond happy for my sister and Alon and love them both very dearly! Ok, enough about this or I am going to cry- AGAIN...I am such a sap!

CONGRATS PAM AND ALON!!!

Happy Friday Everyone!

I am practically running out the door right now- so this will be short and sweet! Had a little fun with this look yesterday and busted out my wild snake print jeans. Found these on Black Friday on super clearance for a mere $25 bucks, which makes me love them even more!

But I hope everyone has a fantastic weekend! My sister is coming to town, so I will be having some much needed sistah time. Cheers!

Girly Grunge

Dress: Forever21 // Shirt: H&M // Sneakers: Converse // Bracelets: Asos, Forever21, H&M // Sunglasses: Ray Ban

No you aren't seeing things, I am totally wearing a floral dress with my Chuck Taylor's. While getting dressed I knew I wanted to wear something really laid back and comfy for the dreaded middle of the week, and I definitely was going to wear my fave sneakers. For the rest of the outfit I thought mixing a more feminine style dress with the not-so-feminine shoe's would be fun- so I threw on my denim button down for an extra layer, some spiked and studded bracelets with polka dots socks, and there we go- I was set for hump day!

What are your go-to laid back pieces or looks?
