My Must-Have Boots

Do you ever see a certain style of something and you just won't stop until you find something similar to satisfy your need? That is exactly what happened with these boots. After seeing this fly lady rock her Freebird boots, my search had begun, my Poshmark search that is! Realizing that these aren't exactly my style, I knew I wanted a more affordable option to act as a trendy piece vs. an investment piece...and it didn't hurt that I had Poshmark credit burning a hole in my virtual pocket. Lucky enough for me I came across these babies at only $30.00 and instantly hit the "buy now" button, and the rest is history.

Seeing Red

It didn't dawn on me until I was sifting through my outfit pictures that I have been wearing a lot of shorts lately. And like I said in my last post, the bare legs definitely came to an end- cue my bright red tights. Bright and patterned tights are definitely going to be a staple for me all winter long, worn with dresses or shorts and cozy sweaters, they add a fun and quirky vibe which I am all about!

I hope everyone is having a great week! My mom just came into town to help with my move, so I can't wait to spend a little time with her. Aren't moms just the best!?

But it's ok, tomorrow we have a little Style Challenge happening and the theme is "Fall Colors"...so I had to get the neon out of my system before tomorrow's post! Check back then to see myself and some other fab ladies take on the challenge!

Easy Breezy

Major apologies for the lack of posts lately-- Life is super crazy and won't be slowing down anytime soon! I just got back from my sister's Bachelorette Party in Palm Springs(SO fun), and now am packing up to leave for Miami tomorrow, so definitely a lot going on (AND not to mention my sister's WEDDING is in 3 weeks-#OMG!)! 

I wore this outfit a couple weeks back when I was still in my glasses non-stop (Update: I went to my eye doctor who magically figured out what was wrong so I can wear my contacts again- yay!) And I just love the flirty floral dress toned down with cargo jacket and booties- you can tell this is my new go to considering I wore something similar to IFB Con here. It's a perfect balance of flirty fun with casual & comfy-definite win, win.

Itttt's baccckk! You last saw this dress here, when I mentioned how often I would be wearing it for summer, and sure enough I have been. This time I tried toughening it up with the vest, booties and major arm swag, and I really love this vibe. I have been wanting ankle booties for quite some time now and finally took the plunge (not to mention I already ordered a second pair)! I love how they instantly add that cool and laid back vibe to a more feminine dress!

Florals, Lace and Glitter

This is actually the outfit I wore on Valentine's Day last week that I never got around to posting (sowee). I knew I wanted to wear something feminine, but not the typical red or pink dress, so I opted for a fun printed skirt and layered a floral tank under this lace top and I really like the effect it gave. The subtle floral print just barely comes through the lace adding light pops of color, and of course with my glitter pumps and floral pin adds that extra girliness to the look.  Finished with my most festive bangles and fave denim blazer, I was definitely dressed for a nice night with my boyfriend...and not to mention this was a boyfriend approved outfit, which is always a win! :-)
