It's the first post of 2015 and with my new shorter hair- holla! I hope everyone enjoyed their holidays and new year-- I sure did. It was so nice to just stay local, catch up on things around the house and get ready for a fresh new year. I didn't make many resolutions, but I do want to spend time with my family more (especially with my nephew on the way) and of course eat healthy and workout more. Oh yeah, I'm also having a dry January--wish me luck! ;-)

Well, well, well. Look who's back. It has definitely been too long of a hiatus, so I'm back...and with a very special style challenge post! My Poshmark ladies and I styled black and white and I LOVE seeing everyone's looks. Can we say chic?

While I am a HUGE fan of color (who me? hehe) once in awhile a girl's gotta keep it simple. This Asos dress is most definitely one of my favorites-- I just love the split look and that it can easily be dressed up or down. In this case, I went with a very resort inspired style as these photos were taken right before my trip to Bali and Thailand (More on that soon, promise!).

Woohoo- finally a new outfit post here on the blog! I have been swamped with work and planning my trip to Bali and Thailand but I finally am feeling a little caught up, meaning more posts- yay! 

I'm super excited to start sharing all of my goodies that I was gifted from WWDMAGIC last month, so keep an eye out for a dedicated haul post in addition to pieces popping up in my outfits. This outfit I am wearing a few of my favorite items- this Jaleh Clothing blazer, ZAD tassel necklace and Mellow World crossbody bag. The blazer is comfortable, soft, chic with a touch of edge that I adore, the necklace is so fun for a subtle pop of color, and the bag I have been wearing non-stop--it's SO perfect to grab and go on the weekends!

Lately, I have been gravitating wearing more skirts then pants. I keep finding these super fun gems (mostly on Asos) so I just can't resist! This asymmetrical skirt caught my eye and I love the colorblocking- it will be great for summer for a night out on the town all the way through fall with a cozy sweater. 

On another note-- I'm going to Bali and Thailand in May! I haven't taken a big trip like this probably since high school, so it is MUCH needed. More on this soon, but if you have any recommendations for
