New York City Style

For those of you who follow me on Instagram and Snapchat (@fashionableeme), you might have seen I was in New York for a quick work trip last week. And when I say quick, it was less than 48 hours-- I've been trying to catch up on sleep for a week now. #yawn

In addition to hosting an amazing Press Event and Posh Party to announce all the exciting happenings at Poshmark (no, really-- did you hear about our app for Apple Watch and Series C funding? MAJOR!) I was able to sneak out for a super fast photoshoot with my long time friend and amazing photographer Bronson Farr. I am obsessed with how these photos came out, and if you are in need of a NYC photographer, definitely hit him up. These photos came out so vibrant and gave me the inspiration to start blogging again. Yay!

I always have such a blast in New York and can't wait to come back again soon. Mad love, NYC!

This outfit incorporates all the things I love. Pops of neon? Check. Casual with a hint of sass? Check. Fun hairstyle? Check.

High Tops

When I was in high school, I bought my first pair of high top sneakers. Yellow Converse high tops to be exact -- are you surprised? Didn't think so. I've always loved the old school, cool girl vibe that they give off -- just makes me want to throw my hands in the air and wave 'em like I just don't care.

Paired with shredded shorts, a leather jacket and some red lips, I'd say this is one of my favorite kind of outfits. ::handsareintheair::

Pajama Chic

When people ask me to describe my style, minimal is never usually on that list. I love crazy prints, bright colors and pretty much anything over the top with a little funk. On this day, I decided to keep things super simple with the exception of the pops of color to really go for the minimal and chic "pajama" look.

What's better than wearing an outfit that feels like pjs to the office? Nothing. ;-)

Lately, I have been gravitating wearing more skirts then pants. I keep finding these super fun gems (mostly on Asos) so I just can't resist! This asymmetrical skirt caught my eye and I love the colorblocking- it will be great for summer for a night out on the town all the way through fall with a cozy sweater.

On another note-- I'm going to Bali and Thailand in May! I haven't taken a big trip like this probably since high school, so it is MUCH needed. More on this soon, but if you have any recommendations for

either place I would love hear!

Happy President's Day, peeps! I just want to share a quick post with you that couldn't be titled more perfectly... because I am off to Las Vegas this afternoon for WWDMAGIC-woop woop! I love me a casual outfit. Jeans, sneakers, a cool t-shirt and leather jacket- DONE. Of course I had to put my own quirky and colorful spin to it with the tie-dye sneakers, rainbow shades and a little nail art. And how fun is my new iPhone case? It was love at first sight. ;-)

Ah, some of my favorite things all in one outfit. Leather jacket? Check. Leopard print? Check. Lipstick? CHECK. I love how edgy yet flirty this look came out to be--the fit & flare skirt and the hot pink lipstick definitely added that hint of femininity it needed to really balance out all the studs, chains and leather.

Hello, Fall!

I finally re-organized my closet for the fall season which means goodbye, sandals and hello, boots! I got these boots from Charlotte Russe last season and I know they are going to be another go-to for this year-- they are SO comfortable, and I love the burgundy color...which believe it or not goes with so many things (I kind of treat it as a neutral). In additions to boots, I pulled out scarfs, beanies, and sweaters- excited for the weather to start cooling down, and for the holidays to start rolling in!

Here's to great October (despite what Susan Miller says)!
