Life as of Lately

I'm bacccckk! The last few months have been absolutely crazy so I had to take some much needed time off from blogging. You know how that goes though, right? Life takes over sometimes and you can't beat yourself up about not getting everything you want done...there just aren't enough hours in the day!

So, what have I been up to over the past few months?

I moved! After living with one of my best friends for two years, the fun had to come to an end (insert crying emoji). With the Bay Area because ridiculously expensive, it took me much longer to find a place to call my own, but it finally happened! I moved to Mountain View three weeks ago and I love my cozy apartment. I'm excited to start fresh and enjoy living alone again..with Tula that is.

I'm going to be an aunt! My sister is pregnant and I can't WAIT to be an aunt! When I found out I was crying hysterically with happiness because I just can't wait to meet the little nugget. Congrats Pam and Alon!

PoshFest 2014 Poshmark's annual fashion conference took place three weekends ago in San Francisco which was such an amazing, fun-filled weekend. But, of course it took months (and months and months) of planning, which I couldn't have done without my amazing team! I feel so accomplished and happy that the weekend turned out so seamless and everyone enjoyed themselves.

Weekend Trips There haven't been many, but I'm trying to explore and take more mini-vacations. Last month I went Carmel, Sonoma and I just got back from Arizona. All were relaxing and perfect for unwinding. Here's to more traveling!

Those are just a few of the carazy happenings as of lately that I wanted to share. I can't wait to get back to blogging and sharing more with you soon. Hope everyone had a fantastic Thanksgiving, so thankful for you all!

Sleep to Street Challenge with PJ Salvage

I'm all for a good style challenge, so when my favorites at P.J. Salvage had the fun idea to style a set of their pajama wear for the day AND night, it was on like donkey kong! I immediately fell in love with this pastel watercolor set because the style is classic but the print just screams FUN! I knew that wearing both the top or bottoms would easily fit into my bright personal style with ease.

A Year in Review: 2013

To say this was the best year of my life is a total understatement. Travels across the country, career growth, blogging friends, refining my style, and feeling more inspired than ever are just a few of the personal accomplishments that have taken place in 2013. I can't wait to see what the new year has in store for me!

After traveling back to back for the past two weeks, I am finally home and able to get back in the swing of things, yay! I most recently returned from New York where I attended the Lucky Magazine Fashion and Beauty Bloggers Conference aka LuckyFABB and it truly was an amazing and inspiring time! From Eva Mendes taking the stage and giving us an impromptu hair scarf tutorial, to seeing new and old blogger babes, the short and sweet trip was so much fun.

Twinkle Toes

Last week was San Francisco's Fall Fashion Fest, and I originally wasn't even planning on going until Adiel gave me the extra push..and I'm so glad she did! From a fun Rachel Roy styling event at Macy's to walking the streets and running into lots of fashionable friends- the night was definitely worth the drive into the city!

Because I wasn't planning on an evening of events, this probably wasn't the best shoe option (hello, five inch heels), but on the flip side I've owned these blush jeweled shoes for almost a year and this was the first time wearing them--I love the color and jewels, perfect for holiday time! Luckily I was able to squeeze a pair of flats in my purse that I changed into toward the end of the night. Much needed!

Day to Night

I dig outfits that can handle double duty, and this one sure was one of them. I wore this a few weeks back when I met up with my girlfriends for dinner, and it was perfect to go from day to night. Easy and casual enough for a work day, and fun and sassy enough for dinner.

Also--major apologies for the lack of posts last week! Between the Alt SF Conference (which rocked) and being crazy busy with work, I hardly had any free time! I do have a fun new recipe post planned coming up this week so stay tuned--it will be mighty tasty! :-)

Pop of Neon

This look is all about the details. What started out as a 'simple' black and white look, quickly became super amped up by mixing in the leopard belt, neon flower, and yes--I took it as far to wear an almost identical printed wristlet that practically camouflaged into my pants. It was too fun not to, and we all know I have a major polka dot problem. :-)
