One of my favorite things to do during the football and hockey seasons is incorporate my favorite sports gear into my outfits. While I love rocking a laid back jersey and jeans, I think it's more fun to put together a fun, stylish, and unexpected look--hence my 49er tee paired with this tribal skirt. I actually bought this skirt over a month ago and while I absolutely love it, I never reached for it to wear...until this day. I knew I wanted to wear a skirt with this tee, so when I put these two together I instantly fell in love. The vintagey vibe of the shirt with the tribal print worked so well, finished with edgy jacket and boots, I was ready to represent! 

How 'bout the game yesterday? WOOP. 

I finally re-organized my closet for the fall season which means goodbye, sandals and hello, boots! I got these boots from Charlotte Russe last season and I know they are going to be another go-to for this year-- they are SO comfortable, and I love the burgundy color...which believe it or not goes with so many things (I kind of treat it as a neutral).  In additions to boots, I pulled out scarfs, beanies, and sweaters- excited for the weather to start cooling down, and for the holidays to start rolling in!

With a prediction of rain for the rest of the week, all I want to wear are cozy sweaters and boots...with a little fun flare from printed jeans, of course. ;-) 

And to answer some of your questions regarding my hair: I DID get a fun new hair cut, and it will be up on the blog soon, I just have a few more outfit posts to share with you before then! Stay tuned!

It didn't dawn on me until I was sifting through my outfit pictures that I have been wearing a lot of shorts lately. And like I said in my last post, the bare legs definitely came to an end- cue my bright red tights. Bright and patterned tights are definitely going to be a staple for me all winter long, worn with dresses or shorts and cozy sweaters, they add a fun and quirky vibe which I am all about!

I hope everyone is having a great week! My mom just came into town to help with my move, so I can't wait to spend a little time with her. Aren't moms just the best!?

I can't believe it's been almost a month (maybe more) since I was able to participate in a Style Challenge (insert sad emoji here)! This week I was finally able to get. it. together and do a post on a Friday, so without further adieu this weeks challenge was to round up some fall colors...I didn't go too 'oxbloody' on y'all and kept it fairly simple with a camel mixed media jacket and just a pop at my lips. 

Hope you all have a great Friday and an even better weekend, I leave for Mexico next week so have a ton of errands and packing to do(not to mention writing my maid of honor speech-eek!)!

Hi friends! I know, I know, it has been has been over a week since I blogged! Life has been so busy and I have been in and out of town for the past 3 weeks..and leaving again next week for my sisters wedding- AH! So I definitely wanted to get some posts in, as I have missed you guys! 

This outfit was from a few weeks ago, but I just love the combination of layering a sweater over a summer dress which totally makes it fall appropriate. I was just saying to the gals in the office that I am a terrible layerer..it's probably due to growing up in California since you usually don't need more than 2 layers. I am going to put my layering skills to the test this winter though, so stay tuned! I also have been trying out new hairstyles and I think besides the sock bun, this one is my absolute favorite! It is SO easy to do and adds that little hint of innocence to any look!

I bought this Topshop dress months and months and MONTHS ago while back in New York with work, and I have been waiting for the perfect occasion to wear it...so of course it was fitting to rock it when back in the big apple at day 2 of IFB Con! Because of how neontastical (yes, it's my new favorite word) it is, I wanted to keep everything else simple, and dress it down a bit, which is why I opted for the cargo jacket and booties. And yes- I wore these booties BOTH days of the conference and it was probably the best decision I have ever made, my feet were so grateful!

All in all, IFB Con was amazing, New York as always inspiring, and total side note- taking outfit pictures on the streets of Soho ROCKS--The backdrops you New York ladies makes me so jealous.

Back to reality...for now! I have 3 more trips coming up within the next month- one of which being my sisters wedding!! AH! :-D
