It's the first post of 2015 and with my new shorter hair- holla! I hope everyone enjoyed their holidays and new year-- I sure did. It was so nice to just stay local, catch up on things around the house and get ready for a fresh new year. I didn't make many resolutions, but I do want to spend time with my family more (especially with my nephew on the way) and of course eat healthy and workout more. Oh yeah, I'm also having a dry January--wish me luck! ;-)

This is just one of those outfits that started out completely different than what it turned out to be, and I kinda like it. I really think Chuck Taylor's go with everything....right? ;-)

Girly Grunge



Dress: Forever21 // Shirt: H&M // Sneakers: Converse // Bracelets: Asos, Forever21, H&M // Sunglasses: Ray Ban

No you aren't seeing things, I am totally wearing a floral dress with my Chuck Taylor's. While getting dressed I knew I wanted to wear something really laid back and comfy for the dreaded middle of the week, and I definitely was going to wear my fave sneakers. For the rest of the outfit I thought mixing a more feminine style dress with the not-so-feminine shoe's would be fun- so I threw on my denim button down for an extra layer, some spiked and studded bracelets with polka dots socks, and there we go- I was set for hump day!
