Do you guys remember this coat?! It was featured here in one of my very first blog posts back in 2012 -- aww memories! It was one of my favorites then, and still is to this day. 

I threw it on over this double denim look and it added the perfect amount of sass, faux sho.

Even though fall is upon us, the California girl in me never lets go of the bright colors and prints, case in point with this look. I have had a thing for skirts lately and this daisy print pencil skirt was a must-have for me. I love a floral print, but I loved that this one is in a simple black and white print. Also, I think red and turquoise is my new favorite color combo- so fun and punchy!

If there is one thing I love, it's some denim on denim action. I love how it gives off that '90s throwback vibe, but mixed with modern pieces like some cool pumps and bold accessories, you look stylish and right on trend for spring.

One of my favorite things to do during the football and hockey seasons is incorporate my favorite sports gear into my outfits. While I love rocking a laid back jersey and jeans, I think it's more fun to put together a fun, stylish, and unexpected look--hence my 49er tee paired with this tribal skirt. I actually bought this skirt over a month ago and while I absolutely love it, I never reached for it to wear...until this day. I knew I wanted to wear a skirt with this tee, so when I put these two together I instantly fell in love. The vintagey vibe of the shirt with the tribal print worked so well, finished with edgy jacket and boots, I was ready to represent!

Being a California gal through and through, I am in love with anything colorful, sunny or beach related, which is why I am completely obsessed with this palm tree tee. If I can't physically be at the beach, I might as well wear one, right? 

I've also been trying to branch out with new summer hairstyles, and this one was ridiculously easy to do and only took me about 10 minutes--I promise one of these days I will get video tutorials going...cross my heart!

While most of you know this more 'boho' look isn't really my style, I love switching things up and trying things I normally wouldn't...and not going to lie--this outfit was super fun to wear (and perfect for a messy hair day). I did, however, get quite the stares at Starbucks and from some corporate folks near work, but I just held my hippie-esque head high and twirled along in this skirt. 

Lastly, while I seriously love the shoes in this post, they are just a wee bit too high for me so I decided to sell them! They deserve a better home, so shop for them in my Poshmark Closet!

I definitely wasn't one of the people getting up early to snag some Prabal Gurung for Target, but when these fabulous shoes presented themselves to me, I just couldn't resist! I love the edgy and sassy vibe the laced up detail adds to a look- meow!
