So, so, SO sorry for not being around as much lately! I am out of town for work in Chicago currently, and then off to Boston for a few days so things are quite chaotic. 

I wore this outfit last week and while I know it is officially fall now, I find myself still reaching for shorts and sandals. Major California girl problems, right? With that being said, visiting the East Coast has definitely given me the excitement for fall and I can't wait to start wearing more boots, rich jewel tones, and cute sweaters!

When my plans involve going to a themed party, I always try my best to be spirited and contribute to the fun as much as possible. So, when I found out we were having a "White Out" party at work last week, I knew I wanted to rock whatever white I could find. As basic as white can be, I found it quite hard to find anything solid white except my go-to blazer, so I ended up doing a little mixing and matching of black and white, all while achieving the goal I'd say! I'd been waiting to wear these striped pants and pug tank for a few weeks now, and it just worked out perfectly to wear them together for this occasion. 

Side note on this tank-- I scored it for $5.00 on CottonOn.com--is it not just the cutest? I'm a sucker with anything dog related so it was a no brainer.

Sometimes you just want to feel like a badass, even you are the farthest thing from one, right?

That's what I love about fashion, you can be feminine and flirty one day, and a badass chick the next.

This kind of outfit is quickly becoming my go-to. I just love the mix of casual bf jeans and a t-shirt, mixed with a more polished blazer and fun heels. Speaking of heels, how amazing are these new pumps?! I was looking at this pair in black, but they were all sold out, and when I noticed this color I instantly hit the 'buy' button--cap toe, lucite details AND an ankle strap? Yes, please! I also thought they complemented my new lucite clutch made my ever-so-crafty friend, Adiel made! 

Lastly, I know it's hard to see what my shirt says...but it reads "I Need Coffee"--definitely my motto for today! :-) Happy Monday!

When I spotted these polka dot pants at Forever 21, I instantly knew they were coming home with me. I love the hunter green color, oversized dots, and I swear Forever 21 pants fit so perfectly! Worn with a little lace, leopard, and a pretty major bun? Yup- kind of obsessed.

It's kind of hard to see, but these pants have the most adorable little star print all over and are oh-so-cute. It's funny because I found these at Kohl's, which I am usually not a huge fan of- but when I saw these for $15 bucks I had to have them! I have also been loving my cargo jacket I got in high school... pretty much over everything, it just adds that cool casualness to any look! 

And lastly, let's talk about my bun- for some reason it came out huge this day! But what can I say..I like big buns and I cannot lie!
