Little Black Dress

Every woman should own a little black dress right? Well, it's funny because for the longest time I didn't have just a simple. black. dress and when I finally realized a few months back, I made a conscious effort to add this one to my wardrobe. Now, if there's one thing I can easily say, it's that I don't wear a ton of black (shocker, right?) so when I slipped this baby on I knew it needed to be punched up with this neon necklace, leopard bag, and studded sandals. I really like the simplicity of this look, but this girl always needs some color in her life.

Style Challenge: Neons

Happy Friday everyone! Sorry for the lack of posts this week- my coworkers and I were in Chicago for a quick few days, which was SO fun! I will post this weekend about it, so stay tuned.

But this week's Style Challenge is all about neons baby! And you all know I am obsessed (my motto is the brighter the better) so this one came fairly easy! I must say though, this look is a little more tame than my usual neon outfits, but I like the subtle pops throughout!
 Gotta make this short and sweet today, but hope you enjoy your weekends!

Feminine Edge

Hi everyone! I hope you all had a great weekend! Sorry for the lack of presence, my weekend involved a lot of traveling, planning and partying-I made a quick trip down to LA for an engagement dinner for my sister and her fiance, which was so fun! My mom and I then drove back up here to the bay area yesterday (in my new Honda-woopwoop), so now back to reality! 

I wore this outfit last week and definitely was feeling oh-so-sassy in it! This look started as something completely different and casual, and as I kept adding pieces like the metallic skirt, leather jacket, and studded sky-high heels it turned into this- et voila: feminine edge. I thought the outfit needed color so these tassel earrings were the perfect finishing touch!
