With the weather just starting to show signs of fall, I've been more and more inclined to wear darker colors and make-up, hence this pretty dramatic look. My love of color is quite obvious, so I usually never wear all black, but there is something about it that really makes a statement.

Hi friends! I know, I know, it has been has been over a week since I blogged! Life has been so busy and I have been in and out of town for the past 3 weeks..and leaving again next week for my sisters wedding- AH! So I definitely wanted to get some posts in, as I have missed you guys! 

This outfit was from a few weeks ago, but I just love the combination of layering a sweater over a summer dress which totally makes it fall appropriate. I was just saying to the gals in the office that I am a terrible layerer..it's probably due to growing up in California since you usually don't need more than 2 layers. I am going to put my layering skills to the test this winter though, so stay tuned! I also have been trying out new hairstyles and I think besides the sock bun, this one is my absolute favorite! It is SO easy to do and adds that little hint of innocence to any look!
